Deion Sanders Discusses How Shedeur Handles 'Haters,' Calls Browns QB 'Really Undervalued'
Ahead of Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders' second year in the NFL, his father expects him to continue to face some detractors as he continues his development.
While speaking to DJ Siddiqi of Clutch Points, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders addressed how the 24-year-old handles scrutiny and confidently declared that he can overcome anything.
"He's gonna face haters like he's always had," Coach Prime said. "He's not gonna face anything new that he hasn't faced in the entirety of his life. He's always been up against the eight ball. He's always been really undervalued, not really appreciated like he should, and he always comes through. He likes when odds are stacked up against him."

Underrated Rookies for 2026 NFL Season
Sanders played eight games with seven starts as a rookie and threw for 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He was selected to the Pro Bowl as an alternate.
Entering the 2026 season, Sanders is competing with veteran signal-caller Deshaun Watson for Cleveland's starting quarterback job. First-year head coach Todd Monken made it clear that he's not in a rush to make a decision just yet.
Whether Sanders wins the starting position or not, he will certainly be motivated to live up to his father's bold declarations when he gets his chance on the field.
