Jordan Staal's Daughter Asks 'Why Did You Punch That Guy?' in Funny Video After Hurricanes' Win

Kids never forget.

Jordan Staal's daughter asked the Carolina Hurricanes captain and Conn Smythe winner why he punched a guy during the playoffs following the team's Stanley Cup triumph on Sunday night.

Staal's daughter was referring to her dad dropping the gloves against Ottawa's Brady Tkachuk in the first round of the playoffs. The two squared off immediately following the opening puck drop of Game 1.

"Physical guy, plays hard and he wanted to go," Staal told reporters at the time regarding Tkachuk. "It's part of the gig. Obviously, those Tkachuk brothers, they play hard and physical and they play the style of game that is hard to play against and he is no different. It was an interesting start for sure."

And a start his daughter didn't soon forget.
