Taylor Swift certainly appeared to bring good fortune to the New York Knicks, so the Carolina Hurricanes are hoping for some of the same during the 2026 Stanley Cup Final.

Nikolaj Ehlers is a left-winger for the Hurricanes, and the word play was a tongue-in-cheek reference to the actual shirt Swift wore when she attended Game 4 of the NBA Finals that said "Stevie Knicks."

All the Knicks did was complete the largest comeback in NBA Finals history when they overcame a 29-point deficit against the San Antonio Spurs when Swift was in attendance, and the Hurricanes are hoping to join them as champions with one more win given their 3-2 lead over Vegas.
