Giancarlo Stanton Injury Update Provided by Yankees' Boone, Latest on Star's Timeline for Return
Giancarlo Stanton's return to the lineup for the New York Yankees could be delayed after experiencing a setback on Saturday.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters Stanton felt "something" in his calf while running the bases this week and could undergo new imaging to evaluate his recovery.
"He felt a little something in there a day or two ago, so that's kind of slowed him down," Boone said. "I expected him back early in this homestand. That's in jeopardy now."
