WWE's Danhausen Drops Bart Simpson Meme as Knicks Lose 1st Game with Him at MSG Since Uncursing NY

The first cracks in Danhausen's cursing power developed on Monday night, as the New York Knicks lost Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals 115-111 to the San Antonio Spurs.

Despite the outcome of the game, the WWE superstar posted a Bart Simpson meme to indicate the Knicks' loss was not his fault.

Danhausen famously uncursed the Knicks prior to Game 6 of their first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks. He continued to take credit for their success throughout the playoffs, which included a 13-game winning streak prior to Monday, as the team made their way to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999.

Monday marked the first game of the series at Madison Square Garden, with Danhausen in attendance. Given the result of the game, New York fans may not let him back in the building for Game 4 on Wednesday night.
