Later on Friday, two Italians will face off for the other spot in the final as Matteo Arnaldi and No. 10 Flavio Cobolli prepare for a 1 p.m. ET semifinal
Zverev quickly got within one set of a trip to the final after taking a rapid two-set lead. His 6-2 second-set win was over in just 35 minutes.
The momentum shifted when Menลกรญk took a medical timeout after going down 2-1 in the third set.
Menลกรญk then rallied, got his first break point of the match at 3-2 and forced the semifinal to a fourth set.
Zverev bounced back with a strong fourth set, including an early break that set the stage for him to steamroll his way to the final.
Menลกรญk was playing in his first major semifinal after defeating No. 8 Alex de Minaur and No. 28 Joรฃo Fonseca, who upset Novak Djokovic earlier in the tournament.
He marked the second ranked opponent of the tournament for Zverev, who also defeated No. 27 Rafael Jodar in the quarterfinals.
Zverev will now seek his first major title after three previous trips to finals, including runner-up finishes at the 2020 U.S. Open, 2024 French Open and 2025 Australian Open.
Roland-Garros has been marked by upsets in both the men's and women's brackets this year.
No. 1 Jannik Sinner was bounced from the second round of the men's bracket before No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka lost in the quarterfinals of the women's tournament.
Carlos Alcaraz was already sitting out the tournament with a wrist injury. That means the men's tournament will feature a major winner other than Sinner or Alcaraz for the first time since 2023.
