"Players want to do everything that they can to help their team. They want to make sure that people are on the right page," Vrabel said Tuesday.

"So, I don't get into a lot of that. I think what's the most important is that those things don't carry into the locker room, that they get handled. You see that all the time on the sidelines... Sometimes those conversations are animated, but it's all in the sake of trying to get on the same page and get right."

Vrabel continued, "Again, I don't know what happened. I'm not trying to figure out what happened in Philadelphia. I'm trying to focus on what's going to happen here."

The Patriots acquired Brown from the Eagles on Monday in exchange for a 2028 first-rounder and a 2027 fifth-rounder.

Brown's last season with the Eagles ended with a January Wild Card loss to the San Francisco 49ers, during which he and Sirianni appeared to have a heated exchange on the sideline.

Vrabel expressed confidence in Brown's ability to adjust to his new team when discussing the Patriots' newest roster addition Tuesday.

"I think he is knowledgeable, and I think that he doesn't have to prove anything to anybody," Vrabel said. "Nobody does. They have to go out there and practice... and I'm confident that he'll do that."

Vrabel went on to praise Brown for his development as a player in his four seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.

"I think he loves football. I think that he has a phsyical skillset. I think he's got great body control, I think he's strong at the catch point," Vrabel said. "But I also think as he's grown as a player and as a receiver, just the nuances of releases versus press, or playing versus bracketed coverages or zone coverages."

Vrabel has previous experience working with Brown from his time with the Tennessee Titans, where he was serving as head coach when the team drafted Brown in 2019.

Brown went on to play three seasons for the Titans before he was traded to the Eagles ahead of the 2022 season.

"I think we drafted him, he was like, 'I wish the Patriots drafted me,'" Vrabel joked. "I said, 'Well, that didn't happen. The Titans drafted you.'"

When asked if his history with Brown might help him "manage" the wide receiver going forward, Vrabel answered: "Just based on looking at his availability in the games that he's been able to play in, and be there for his team, I think that hopefully leads to future availability."

Brown will be reuniting with his former team as soon as Aug. 19. That's when the Patriots are hosting the Eagles for the first of two days of joint practices, Vrabel told reporters Tuesday.

The Patriots and Eagles are then set to kick off a preseason matchup at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 22.

Brown saw his production and playing time fluctuate while recording a fourth straight 1,000 receiving-yard season with the Eagles in 2025. Vrabel and the Patriots will hope to see even more production from the wide receiver as he takes on a potential WR1 role in front of Romeo Doubs next season.
