Yankees' Jazz Chisholm Jr. Reveals Michael Jordan Refused Autograph Request in Jimmy Fallon Video
Michael Jordan's notoriously stingy attitude toward signing autographs even applies to kids who attend a softball camp, as New York Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. found out.
Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (starts at 2:45 mark), Chisholm explained that Jordan "flat out cold" refused his autograph request when he was a kid wandering around a softball camp in the Bahamas and happened to come across His Airness.

Chisholm did note that Jordan offered him a message before walking off: "Make me want your autograph one day, kid."
Jordan is often very limited in the autographs he will give, in part because he has had longstanding deals with various memorabilia companies, including Upper Deck, that limits how much he can sign.
The Yankees star did note that Jordan's message helped his motivation to become the athlete he is today, so it was effective in that regard.
Chisholm didn't say whether or not he has ever given Jordan his autograph, though in a way he did because he signed an apparel deal with Jordan Brand in 2023.
