He was acquired by Colorado with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 MLB draft.

Holliday hasn't made his MLB debut yet, spending his first two seasons at Single-A Fresno.

In 33 games this year, the 19-year-old has hit .262 with nine home runs and 32 RBI while posting a .952 OPS. He was excelling offensively as of late, amassing 18 hits over his past 15 games.

It's unclear when Holliday suffered the injury, but Fresno initially placed him on the seven-day injured list on Sunday.

Holliday is the brother of Baltimore Orioles infielder Jackson Holliday and the son of seven-time MLB All-Star Matt Holliday.
