Chelsea Transfer News: Latest on Baba Rahman and Godfred Donsah Rumours
Chelsea have reportedly had a €25 million bid for Augsburg left-back Baba Rahman.
According to Ed Aarons of the Guardian, Chelsea have "already agreed personal terms" with the Ghanaian, but the Bundesliga outfit are "holding out for €30 million."
As Aarons notes, the youngster would be utilised as a replacement for Filipe Luis, who returned to Atletico Madrid earlier in the summer.

The 21-year-old impressed for Augsburg last season, as WhoScored.com illustrates:
The left-back also showed his qualities in the air and getting forward, with Squawka reporting that Rahman won 67 per cent of his aerial battles and successfully dribbling past an opponent in 66 per cent of his attempts.
Football journalist Alex Chaffer believes the youngster to be a promising prospect but understands Chelsea's reticence to meet Augsburg's valuation:
However, as manager Jose Mourinho recently admitted, Chelsea's lack of serious transfer activity is a problem. Per John Cross of the Mirror, he said: "It's dangerous. I think what you are saying, that saying, is right. You say if you stand still you get worse. It's right."
With Chelsea in desperate need for more depth in their otherwise excellent squad, it seems likely they'll reach an agreement over Rahman.
At 21 and with such great potential, Rahman can show his value over the coming seasons as Chelsea fight lengthy campaigns on several fronts.
Chelsea Close to Godfred Donsah Capture
According to the Telegraph, Chelsea are in "pole position" to sign Ghanaian youngster Godfred Donsah.
The 19-year-old was one of the few highlights in an otherwise disastrous season for Cagliari, who slipped out of Serie A.

The midfielder scored twice and also created a goal in his 1153 minutes of playing time for the struggling side.
As Opta Paolo notes, the Ghanaian's goals last season made him stand out among the young players in Europe:
Understandably, Cagliari are keen to hold onto one of their best prospects.
Per the Telegraph's report, club president Tommaso Giulini said:
"We had a chat a few weeks ago with Juventus and Chelsea, but I am stunned by all these rumours around him. We have many other players on low wages and their contracts will be renewed at the right time, including Donsah’s.
"
Nevertheless, a move to the Premier League champions would be hard to turn down for the youngster, so a move could well be on the cards.
As Chelsea are infamous for loaning out huge swaths of young talent each season, a loan back to Cagliari this season could be used to facilitate a move.
Donsah clearly has a bright future ahead of him, so there remains a strong possibility that Chelsea will add not one but two promising Ghanaians to their squad this summer.
