Nate Diaz Reacts to Bloodied Loss to Mike Perry from Historic Ronda Rousey-Gina Carano Netflix Card
Nate Diaz again indicated he's ready for a rematch after a bloody loss to Mike Perry on May 17 at a Most Valuable Promotions MMA event headlined by Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano.
Diaz suffered cuts on his forehead that left his face covered in blood by the end of Perry's second-round TKO win.
"I wasn't happy with my inactivity, but a lack of opponents will do that," Diaz wrote in a Tuesday post on Instagram. "It was easy to get up for me in this fight. Now I think it'll be even easier to get up for him. Either way, shoutout to Mike on the win and for getting me off my ass."

Diaz added: "Now I've got a target. Hunting season," followed by hashtags including "#Rematch."
Diaz also proposed a rematch immediately after the loss ended with a doctor's stoppage.
Perry, when asked about a potential rematch after his win, called another bout against Diaz "free money."
The defeat marked the first MMA fight for Diaz since 2022, when he defeated Tony Ferguson via submission.
He wasn't the only fighter making a comeback during Saturday's card. Rousey made her return to professional fighting with a 17-second submission win over Carano after Francis Ngannou celebrated his own return to the ring with a first-round knockout of Philipe Lins.
