Jake Paul Reacts to Usyk vs. Rico Verhoeven Controversial TKO, 'Bro You Lost That S--t'
Jake Paul called out unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk for his controversial victory over Rico Verhoeven on Saturday.
After Usyk won via 11th-round TKO when referee Mark Lyson called off the fight just as the bell sounded, Paul took to social media to declare, "Bro you lost that s--t."

Paul also replied to a post Usyk made and directly told him, "You should never feel like you won this fight. Embarrassing"
Paul also threw some shade toward former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, whom he has been eyeing as a future opponent.
Verhoeven, who is a former Glory Kickboxing heavyweight champion and one of the greatest kickboxers of all time, surprisingly gave Usyk a tough test during their showdown in front of the pyramids of Giza, Egypt. According to ESPN's Andreas Hale, two judges scored the fight 95-95 while a third judge saw it 96-94 in favor of Verhoeven at the time of the stoppage.
It seems that Paul wasn't impressed with Usyk's performance, but he will have to wait a while before he can steal any shine from the heavyweight champ. Paul is recovering from a broken jaw suffered in his knockout loss against Anthony Joshua in December. Most Valuable Promotions co-founder Nakisa Bidarian told B/R that the 29-year-old is eyeing a return to the ring by the end of 2026.
