Livvy Dunne Explains Trending Video After Reaction to Paul Skenes Allowing HR Goes Viral

Former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne explained her disappointed reaction to her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes, giving up a home run on Saturday.

"Me just trying to listen to meditation music," Dunne wrote while reposting the trending video to her Instagram story.

The Pirates suffered a 5-2 loss against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday, as Skenes didn't look like his usual self.

The reigning National League Cy Young Award winner allowed nine hits and four earned runs in five innings of work. He also recorded just two strikeouts compared to one walk.

Dunne previously revealed that she has a ritual when watching Skenes pitch.

"I'm a little superstitious," Dunne said during a May 14 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "I have to scream before every single pitch, 'Let's go Paul.' And everybody around me is kind of like, 'What is wrong with this girl?'"

Skenes has still been impactful throughout the start of his 2026 campaign despite his recent struggles, owning a 6-4 record in 11 starts to go along with a 3.00 ERA and 0.82 WHIP.
