
Hurricanes Beat Canadiens, Updated NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs ECF Bracket & Schedule After Game 2
The Carolina Hurricanes secured a 3-2 overtime win over the Montreal Canadiens in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final on Saturday.
The series is now tied 1-1.

It didn't take long for the Hurricanes to get on the board, as Eric Robinson's tip-in gave them a 1-0 lead just under three minutes into the first period.
The Canadiens responded before the opening period came to a close, as Josh Anderson tied the game at 1-1 after Carolina struggled to clear.
Montreal goaltender Jakub Dobeš ran into some trouble near the beginning of the second period as his stick became stuck in his skate, but Carolina couldn't capitalize on the opportunity.
The Hurricanes eventually held a 2-1 edge before the end of the second due to Nikolaj Ehlers' wrist shot.
The Canadiens sent the contest to overtime after Anderson tied the game with a goal as just over seven minutes remained in regulation.
Roughly three minutes into overtime, Ehlers also recorded his second goal of the night to give Carolina the victory.
Montreal finished with just 12 shot attempts as a team in the defeat.
