Cowboys' Jerry Jones on Increased NFL International Games, Not as Bad as a 'Night Out on the Town'
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones doesn't believe the intense travel schedule that accompanies the NFL's increasing forays into overseas games is that big of a deal.

2028 NFL Draft in Minnesota
"Part of being a player, part of being that-age person, part of being all of that shape they're in and what have you, is they're able to have a little extracurricular in many ways," he continued. "It can be a lot more damaging just walking down the block."
Granted, it's more than a little presumptuous to assume every player is using their free time to go out on the town and party. It's also easy for an 83-year-old who stands to profit from expanding markets into new countries—and who doesn't have to pay the physical price for those efforts—to diminish the difficulties of playing an extremely grueling sport on a challenging overseas schedule.
The Cowboys aren't the only team who won't have a bye after international travel. But downplaying the potential impact it could have on the players doesn't seem like a great look either.
