WWE's Danhausen Trolls The Miz, Cavs Fan's Threat as 'Curse' Trends After Knicks' Epic Comeback Win

WWE Superstar Danhausen reveled in the New York Knicks' 22-point, fourth-quarter comeback win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday.

Prior to Game 1, Danhausen appeared on ESPN's First Take and declared that he was "cursing" the Cavs, saying, "I do have a special mission I've been sent on and that is for the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. Let them know that they are cursed."

For much of Game 1, it looked as though Danhausen's curse was ineffective, but that changed in the fourth quarter when the Knicks erased a 22-point deficit and went on to win 114-105 in overtime.

After the Cavs' epic collapse, Danhausen took the opportunity to troll fans of the team, including fellow WWE Superstars The Miz and Johnny Gargano:

Although Danhausen initially cursed the Knicks last month due to an encounter with ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith, he uncursed them after they fell behind 2-1 to the Atlanta Hawks in the first round.

Since then, New York has reeled off eight consecutive wins, and none was more improbable than the victory over Cleveland in Game 1.

The Cavs were in full control and cruising toward a Game 1 road win, but Knicks All-Star guard Jalen Brunson took over in the fourth quarter, scoring 16 of his game-high 38 points thanks largely to the strategy of attacking Cavs guard James Harden.

Danhausen already had bragging rights over The Miz after he and Minihausen beat Miz and Kit Wilson at Backlash earlier this month, but after what happened to the Cavaliers on Tuesday, Danhausen may prove to be a permanent thorn in Miz's side.
