Travis Kelce Reacts to Chiefs' 2026 NFL Schedule, Sounds Off on International Games, More

Julia StumbaughMay 20, 2026

Travis Kelce already has Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills circled on the Kansas City Chiefs' 2026 schedule.

Kelce highlighted the Chiefs' Week 12 holiday matchup when discussing his team's upcoming schedule around the 20:30 mark of Wednesday's episode of New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce.

"Thanksgiving Night, up there in Buffalo in that beautiful new stadium they've got. That will be electric," Kelce told his brother. "Obviously, Pat Mahomes and Josh Allen is always an instant classic."

The holiday matchup with the Bills kicks off a season-ending stretch during which the Chiefs play the Los Angeles Rams, Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Chargers on the road while facing the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers and Las Vegas Raiders at home.

"We've got a nice little stretch in November to finish off the season, and playing a lot of big-time games, man," Kelce said. "I could see all of those games being meaningful."

The Chiefs are not one of the teams playing in the NFL's record nine international matchups next season, although Kelce said he was in support of the league increasing its overseas schedule.

"I think the international games are a blast. I think the NFL is smart by visiting new countries, new cities," Kelce said.

The podcast was released the day after NFL owners approved up to 10 international games per season beginning in 2027.

Kelce, who hit free agency after a 2025 season derailed by Mahomes' season-ending knee injury, is returning for a 14th season with the Chiefs on what is essentially a one-year deal.

Mahomes' ability to bounce back from surgical repair of the torn ACL and LCL in his left knee will be key to the Chiefs' hopes of returning to the playoff picture in 2027.

When asked in Wednesday's episode if he thought Mahomes would be able to return for Week 1, Kelce said only that his quarterback has been "working his ass off" this offseason.
