Patrick Mahomes Congratulates Travis Kelce in Trending Video As Chiefs TE Signs New Contract

Travis Kelce officially signed his contract with the Kansas City Chiefs for the 2026 season on Monday, and Patrick Mahomes made sure to hit him up during the process:

Technically the deal is for three years and $54.7 million, but in practice, it's essentially a one-year, $12 million deal with two years added in to spread out the cap hits (though they aren't void years).

The 2026 campaign may be Kelce's final one in the NFL after he contemplated retirement this offseason. He's remained effective, catching 76 passes for 851 yards and five touchdowns in 2025, and will be one of Mahomes' most trusty targets once the veteran quarterback recovers from his torn ACL.
