WWE's Danhausen Curses Cavs After Supporting Knicks Ahead of Eastern Conference Final
WWE Superstar Danhausen put a curse on the Cleveland Cavaliers ahead of the team's matchup with the New York Knicks in the 2026 Eastern Conference Finals.
"I do have a special mission I've been sent on and that is for the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight," Danhausen said during a Tuesday appearance on NBA Today. "Let them know that they are cursed."
New York has gone 7-0 over its past seven playoff games since being uncursed by Danhausen, who confirmed that the team still isn't cursed while appearing on First Take Tuesday.
The Knicks entered the playoffs with high expectations, but fell into a 2-1 series deficit against the Atlanta Hawks in the first round.
They eventually secured three straight wins to take down the Hawks in six games before sweeping the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the playoffs.
Now, New York is attempting to advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999. The Knicks will have to defeat a Cavs squad coming off a seven-game series win over the Detroit Pistons in order to do so.
Game 1 between New York and Cleveland is on Tuesday, with tip-off at 8 p.m. ET.
