Tom Brady Jokingly Takes Jab at Bill Belichick with Georgetown Commencement Speech in Trending Video
Seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady poked fun at his former New England Patriots head coach, Bill Belichick, while giving the undergraduate commencement speech at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business on Saturday (speech begins at 3:05 mark).
"I usually don't do well with compliments," Brady said after being introduced to the graduating class (h/t Kimberlee Speakman of People Magazine). "I had a coach for 20 years tell me how sh---y I was every day."

Brady, of course, had a lot of good advice for the Georgetown graduates but got in one more dig at his old coach.
"I want you to challenge yourself with ideas that are uncomfortable and people that push you to be your very best," Brady said. "Even if one of those people is a cranky old coach who cuts the sleeves off his sweatshirt and screams at you all day, 'Do your job.' Okay that's too specific."
Brady and Belichick won six Super Bowls together, but the two sometimes butted heads, and their issues ultimately helped lead to the end of the quarterback's time in town before he left for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Still, no one can deny their tremendous success. No player has won more Super Bowls than Brady and his seven. No coach has won more Super Bowls than Belichick, who won eight (six with the Pats and two as the New York Giants' defensive coordinator).
These days, the two are looking for success on other teams. Brady is a minority owner for the Las Vegas Raiders, while Belichick is entering his second season as UNC's head coach.
