Ronda Rousey, Gina Carano Make Weight for Netflix Fight in Video Ahead of Historic Card
Saturday's historic main event of Netflix's first-ever MMA card is official, as both Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano had no issues making weight on Friday.
Rousey and Carano both weighed in well below the 145-pound weight limit for their featherweight clash, with Rousey weighing in at 142 pounds and Carano weighing in at 141.4 pounds. The two women's MMA legends embraced each other on stage after making weight.

Rousey, Gina Carano Open Workouts 🔥
This marked the first time that either fighter had been on the scales in quite some time, as this is Rousey's first fight since 2016 and Gina's first since 2009. Rousey, who is a UFC Hall of Famer, revealed earlier this week that this will be her swan song in MMA.
"This is the peak, I can't go higher than this. This is the dream fight. This is the absolute pinnacle, I think, for me," Rousey told Uncrowned's Ariel Helwani. "This is the perfect way to end it. ... There will always be fights, but it's like, there's so many series where you're like, they peaked in this season, they should've just ended it then. There's nothing bigger than this, this is it, and I think that anything other than that would just be dragging the series out too long, and I think we need to end at the peak.
Saturday's fight card will also feature former UFC stars Nate Diaz and Mike Perry facing off and former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou going up against former PFL heavyweight tournament champion Philipe Lins.
Diaz (168.6) and Perry (169.6) easily made weight for their welterweight showdown. Meanwhile, Ngannou hit the scales at 257 pounds, a whopping 37 pounds higher than Lins (220.6).
All 22 fighters competing on Saturday made weight for the event, so it will be exciting to see it all finally go down at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
