Paige Bueckers put together her best game of the season so far, but the Dallas Wings lost to the Minnesota Lynx 90-86 on Thursday.
Buckers posted 27 points and eight assists, both of which were season highs through the early going for the reigning Rookie of the Year.

The Lynx were without star Napheesa Collier as she continues to work her back from offseason ankle surgery, but Natasha Howard and Courtney Williams did their best to keep Minnesota in the game.
Howard put up 26 while Williams had 21 to lead the Lynx to the win.
After a rough showing in her WNBA debut, No. 1 overall pick Azzi Fudd turned things around on Thursday, scoring eight points in 20 minutes.
Fudd had just one basket in her debut last week and had to miss Tuesday's contests against the Atlanta Dream because of a knee injury. Fudd still has some work to do before she can make a case for Rookie of the Year, but Thursday was an improvement.
