Tom Brady's Return to Patriots' Gillette Stadium as Broadcaster Revealed During NFL Schedule Release

Tom Brady will return to Gillette Stadium for the first time as a broadcaster during the 2026 NFL season.

The legendary quarterback, who now calls games for FOX Sports, will return to the home of the New England Patriots in Week 9 for the Green Bay Packers matchup against the defending AFC champs.

Brady, of course, spent the majority of his career in New England, where he won six Super Bowls, four Super Bowl MVPs and three NFL MVPs. He spent the last three years of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he won another Super Bowl.

While Brady and the Patriots didn't necessarily end on bad terms, he hasn't exactly been openly rooting for the franchise since his retirement. Ahead of New England's Super Bowl matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, he said that he didn't "have a dog in the fight in this one."

As a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, Brady's loyalty likely lies with them these days—at least from a business standpoint.

His lack of fandom for the Patriots should actually serve him well this fall since he'll be able to be more objective when on air for FOX, something that surely isn't always easy for former NFL players calling games for their former teams.

Brady joined FOX's team as the lead color commentator ahead of the 2024 NFL season, so he'll have a few years under his belt heading into the 2026 campaign. The future Hall of Famer will look to put together another strong year in the broadcast booth, while also guiding the Raiders to success in their rebuild.
