Teams Looking to Get Back to NFL Playoffs

Amon Ra 'Motivated As Ever'
While the Eagles and Cowboys play twice per season, they've rarely faced each other on Thanksgiving. The Eagles won both of those matchups, 27-0 in 1989 and 33-10 in 2014.
The Cowboys hold the edge in the overall series by a 75–59 margin (though that is largely down to dominating the rivalry in the 1970s, with a 17-3 record against the Birds). In the past seven seasons the rivalry has been incredibly even, with the teams splitting the regular-season series, 7-7.
In the past three decades the Eagles have been the far more successful overall franchise, however. Since Dallas last won a Super Bowl in 1995, the Eagles have won 12 division titles, 20 playoff games, two Super Bowl titles and reached the Super Bowl three times.
In that same time span the Cowboys have won nine division titles but have been victorious in just five playoff games and haven't even reached the NFC Championship Game, let alone the Super Bowl. Jerry Jones have never replicated the dynasty that Jimmy Johnson built in the early 1990s.
There aren't many better rivalries in football than Eagles-Cowboys. Thanksgiving just got a lot more fun.
