Ronald Acuna Jr. Injured, Updates on Timeline to Return to Braves from New Hamstring Injury
The Atlanta Braves announced Sunday they placed right fielder Ronald Acuña Jr. on the 10-day injured list due to a strained left hamstring.
José Azócar is replacing Acuña on the active roster.
Atlanta also reinstated star pitcher Spencer Strider from the IL, with Hunter Stratton heading down to Triple-A.

MLB Mock Draft's Biggest Risers 📈
During the second inning of Saturday's 9-1 win over the Colorado Rockies, Acuña grabbed his left hamstring while running to first on a ground ball. Manager Walt Weiss removed him from the game, with Eli White taking over in right.
The five-time All-Star hasn't gotten off to a great start so far. Through 34 appearances, he has a .252/.362/.378 slash line along with two home runs and nine RBI. His 0.5 WAR rank sixth among Atlanta position players on FanGraphs.
The fact Acuña is going on the 10-day rather than 60-day IL leads one to believe his hamstring injury isn't too serious. Maybe he's not activated at the earliest opportunity, but he could be back in a few weeks rather than a few months.
Acuña's injury further magnifies the cost of Jurickson Profar's season-long suspension. Mike Yastrzemski, who has started 31 games in left, has a .522 OPS so far. Now, the other corner outfield spot will be occupied by White, who's slugging .343 across his MLB career.
There's going to be a sizable void in the offense until Acuña is back.
