Ronald Acuna Jr. Injured, Latest Updates on Braves Star After Exiting vs. Rockies
Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuña Jr. left Saturday's game against the Colorado Rockies in the top of the second inning after suffering an apparent hamstring injury while running to first base.
Acuña's injury was identified by the Braves as left hamstring tightness.

Eli White replaced Acuña in right field for the bottom of the second inning, at which point the Braves led 2-0.
Acuña had started out the game with a leadoff single in the top of the first, then scored on a home run from Drake Baldwin.
He had just hit a groundout to get Jorge Mateo one base closer to scoring in the top of the second when he appeared to suffer his injury on his way out of the box.
The Braves have climbed to the top of the NL with a 23-10 record heading into Saturday despite a relatively slow start to the season from Acuña, who is slashing .248/.360/.376.
Acuña has made it to base in 23 straight games, but he has just two home runs so far this season. He's on pace for a single-season total of nine home runs, well short of his 21 homers from last season.
Braves manager Walt Weiss said earlier this week he felt Acuña was "getting really close" to an offensive breakout.
"I feel like there are signs of him getting close," Weiss said Tuesday. "The exit velos have been pretty good, but the ball's been on the ground a lot. He just hasn't found that consistency where he gets rolling. It'll be loud when he does."
Acuña had appeared in all 33 games to start the Braves' season, but he's missed at least 65 games in each of his last two campaigns.
Weiss will now hope Acuña can return to the lineup soon in order to continue working toward building toward a return to his offensive production from his 2025 All-Star season.
