DeAndre Hopkins Eyes Joe Burrow Partnership, Calls Bengals QB '1 of the Best'
Veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins revealed that he's interested in playing with Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
"I think Joe is one of the best," Hopkins said in a Saturday interview while attending the Kentucky Derby. "I love his game, his toughness. He took his team to a Super Bowl early in his career and I feel like he can get back there with a little bit of help."
Hopkins, who is currently a free agent, appeared in 17 games with the Baltimore Ravens last season. The five-time Pro Bowler hauled in 22 receptions for 330 yards and two touchdowns.
He previously teased a partnership with Burrow after catching a pass from the Cincinnati signal-caller during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic.
While Burrow was limited to just eight games last season due to a toe injury, he's already established himself as one of the NFL's top quarterbacks.
He helped the Bengals make a Super Bowl appearance during his 2021 campaign before leading the league in passing yards and passing touchdowns in 2024.
Cincinnati already boasts a receiving corps led by Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, but Hopkins could potentially operate as Cincinnati's No. 3 wideout if the team shows interest in him.
