Dolphins' Malik Willis Shows Off Baseball Skills in Batting Practice Video from Marlins' Stadium
Miami Dolphins quarterback Malik Willis seems to have a good thing going right now in the NFL, but his baseball skills suggest he might be able to help the Miami Marlins if they were to ask.
During his appearance at LoanDepot Park on Friday night for the Marlins' game against the Philadelphia Phillies, Willis took batting practice and put up a 109.6 mph exit velocity on one of his swings.

One thing Willis does need work on is his pitching, as his ceremonial first pitch didn't quite hit the target.
Going back to his batted ball, though, Willis' exit velocity would be harder than the hardest-hit ball by New York Yankees outfielder Cody Bellinger has had this season (109.3 mph). It equals the hardest-hit ball by two-time All-Star Brent Rooker of the Athletics.
Given the current production from the Marlins' entire outfield, the team might want to see if Willis would consider moonlighting as an MLB player. They are only four games out of a wild card spot in the NL entering Saturday.
