A'ja Wilson Debuts New Red Hairstyle in Photos, Video from Aces Media Day Ahead of 2026 WNBA Season

Much like Golden State Warriors star Jimmy Butler, Wilson has fully embraced media day photoshoots. Ahead of the 2024 season, she had platinum silver hair to coincide with the Aces' uniform rebrand. Last year, she opted for pink.
While she was technically a free agent, Wilson didn't seriously entertain any outside interest before re-signing with Las Vegas on a three-year deal worth $5 million.
The reigning champions pretty much kept the band together as Jackie Young, Chelsea Gray, Jewell Loyd and NaLyssa Smith are all returning as well.
The Aces have to be considered the early championship favorites, though winning four titles in five years would be an achievement without parallel since the Houston Comets' four-peat from 1997-2000.
The fact remains that Wilson is the best player on the planet. She averaged 23.4 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.3 blocks and evolved to become a more all-around scorer in 2025.
As long as she stays healthy, Vegas will be tough to beat in a postseason series.
Should the Aces lift another trophy, maybe Wilson can show up to her 2027 media day photoshoot with gold hair.
