Chargers 'F--king Starving' for Success in NFL Playoffs, Says Star DL Teair Tart After Contract
Despite making back-to-back playoff appearances in their first two years under head coach Jim Harbaugh, the Los Angeles Chargers failed to advance past the Wild Card Round.
The recent postseason failures have certainly motivated the Chargers to chase more success in Harbaugh's third season at the helm, and defensive lineman Teair Tart had a blunt assessment of the team's mindset entering the 2026 campaign.
"I think we're f--king starving," Tart declared, per Kevin Patra of NFL.com.

Tart originally joined the Chargers in 2024 and re-signed with the team this offseason on a three-year, $37.5 million deal with $20 million guaranteed. The 29-year-old said his recent payday only adds to his motivation to help Los Angeles get over the hump.
"No, it actually builds on it. Same me," Tart said. "I always got something to prove. I know I play with a chip on my shoulder, always got something to prove, always want to find ways to get better each and every season. I got a new contract, but it don't change the goals, it don't change the ambition I got for myself and this team."
The Chargers will have a difficult road ahead, as the AFC West is one of the best divisions in the NFL. However, Tart and his teammates will be driven to build off their previous success and put together a deep postseason run this year.
