Josh Jacobs' Brother Isaiah Reportedly Gets Packers Rookie Minicamp Invite After Going Undrafted
Isaiah Jacobs will get the chance to prove himself in the NFL with his brother's team.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the former UAB running back and brother of Josh Jacobs will attend the Green Bay Packers' rookie minicamp as a tryout player.
Jacobs was unranked coming out of high school, but got an opportunity from Maryland. After two years with the Terrapins, he spent one season at Independence Community College in Kansas before returning to the FBS level when he transferred to UAB.
His final season of college football was his best as he collected 342 rushing yards and five total touchdowns, but he wasn't exactly high up on scouts' draft boards heading into the draft.
His brother has put together two solid seasons in Green Bay, though, perhaps earning him some influence. The younger Jacobs will look to make the most of the opportunity and perhaps earn a spot in the backfield alongside his brother.
