MiLB Team to Change Name to 'Tacos' After Taco Bell Offer?

Dan CarsonAug 7, 2015

In what appears to be a moment of buzzed hunger, the Fresno Grizzlies may have made a deal with Taco Bell on Thursday night, promising to change the team's name to the "Fresno Tacos" in exchange for tacos for everyone in Fresno proper.

Ever the wily meat siren, Taco Bell offered up the ultimate honey pot.

The Grizzlies, shameless as one can only be before free tacos, look to have bent the knee quickly and submitted to House Bell.

Now about those tacos...

It's unclear how many tacos Taco Bell will deliver, or how they will go about distributing one to everyone in Fresno (population: over 509,000). But they must follow through.

You can't demand servitude and not reward your leal taco vassals for their service. That's not how viral marketing goes.
