Stefon Diggs, Jauan Jennings, David Njoku's Best Landing Spots After 2026 NFL Draft Day 2
Following Day 2 of the 2026 NFL draft, teams that are still in need of pass-catchers could look to the free-agent market to improve their receiving corps.
Wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Jauan Jennings and tight end David Njoku are among the top veterans who remain unsigned.
Let's take a look at the top landing spots for these players after the completion of the second and third rounds of the draft.
Stefon Diggs

After making a run to Super Bowl LX with the New England Patriots and losing to the Seattle Seahawks, Diggs will certainly be looking to land with a title contender.
Just one year removed from a torn ACL, Diggs proved that he can still be a top option in the passing attack, as he finished the 2025 season with 85 catches for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns.
The Los Angeles Rams were initially expected to target a wide receiver before they used the No. 13 pick to select Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson. They could add a veteran like Diggs to create a dangerous group alongside Davante Adams and Puka Nacua.
The Baltimore Ravens could use a veteran presence alongside rising star receiver Zay Flowers, who recently had his fifth-year option picked up. The team added even more youth by selecting USC wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane with a third-round pick. Diggs would give star quarterback Lamar Jackson another reliable target in the passing attack.
The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off their first losing season since 2012, so they likely would welcome all the help they can get. Adding Diggs alongside tight end Travis Kelce and receivers Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy would give Patrick Mahomes a talented group when he returns from his torn ACL during the 2026 season.
Jauan Jennings

Jennings was a reliable source of production for the 49ers for the last five seasons as a No. 2 option in the passing attack.
After leading San Francisco with nine receiving touchdowns in 2025, Jennings should be seeking a similar role where he can dominate his matchup and take pressure off of a No. 1 wideout.
The Tennessee Titans used the No. 4 pick to select Ohio State wide receiver Carnell Tate, but they could still use an adult in the room. Jennings could choose to follow head coach Robert Saleh from San Francisco to Tennessee and provide some stability for 2025 No. 1 pick Cam Ward.
The Los Angeles Chargers let veteran wideout Keenan Allen hit free agency, so they could turn to Jennings and keep him on the West Coast. Star quarterback Justin Herbert would certainly welcome another addition alongside Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston.
The Carolina Panthers hit gold when they selected wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan with the No. 8 pick last year, as he produced 70 catches for 1,014 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie. No other player on the team had more than 400 receiving yards, so the Panthers would be wise to bring in Jennings as another target for quarterback Bryce Young, even after selecting Tennessee receiver Chris Brazzell II with a third-round pick.
David Njoku

After being limited to 12 games in 2025 due to knee injuries, Njoku will be motivated to make an impact with his new team.
Njoku's 293 receiving yards were his fewest since the 2020 campaign, though he managed to reach the end zone four times.
The Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins are among the teams that could use some depth at the tight end position. Njoku would be a reliable outlet for quarterbacks Bo Nix, Dak Prescott or Malik Willis.
A healthy year for Njoku could help him return to his Pro Bowl form, which would undoubtedly benefit his next franchise in 2026.
