2026 NFL Mock Draft with Consensus Picks for Every 1st-Rounder
While sites such as NFL Mock Draft Database aggregate more than 100 first-round mocks to create a consensus draft, we thought it would be more interesting to take six of the most popular mocks and see what the 2026 NFL draft might look like if these were the only options considered.
Using the latest mocks from The Ringer (Diante Lee), The Athletic (Dane Brugler), NFL.com (Daniel Jeremiah), ESPN (Mel Kiper and Field Yates), and the B/R Scouting Department (Brandon Thorn, Dame Parson, Daniel Harms and Matt Holder) as a basis, we came up with an average draft position (ADP) for each of the top prospects in the 2026 class.

Welcome to B/R's NFL Mock Draft week. Check out our other installments in the series below:
Consensus Picks
There was only one consensus pick to be found across all six experts mocks we reviewed. That unsurprisingly was Fernando Mendoza to Las Vegas at No. 1 overall. While this shouldn't come as a shock to anyone who hasn't been living under a rock, it is interesting that no other pairing garnered a unanimous match.
Arvell Reese (2.3 ADP) came closest to also having a consensus, with four of the six experts pairing the Ohio State edge-rusher with the New York Jets at No. 2. The ESPN contingent of Yates and Kiper both believe Gang Green will choose David Bailey, however, and placed Reese with the Cardinals at No. 3.
Monroe Freeling (17.3 ADP) was the only other player who four experts all mocked to the same spot—No. 17 to the Lions as the natural replacement for Taylor Decker.
Largest Spreads

Kadyn Proctor has one of largest first-round ranges of any player in the class.
While the Alabama offensive tackle can be found on all six mocks and has a consensus ADP of 17.2, he's coming off the board as early as No. 6 to the Browns in the B/R Scouting Department's mock and as late as No. 23 to the Eagles in both Jeremiah's and Brugler's.
Kiper split the difference and placed Proctor at No. 12, although the ESPN analyst has Cleveland getting better value by trading back with the Cowboys for that draft slot.
Keldric Faulk was another divisive choice, at least among the players found in all six mocks. While he has a consensus ADP of 21.0, both Brugler (No. 11) and The Ringer (No. 12) have the Auburn edge coming off the board right outside the top-10.
Jeremiah was the lowest on raw but promising prospect, placing him near the end of Day 1 at No. 30.
Most Common Positions
Teams around the league are set to reload both sides of the trenches during the 2026 NFL draft. Nearly half of the players appearing in the consensus expert mock line up along the offensive or defensive line.
The edge-rushers have an edge in value, with Reese (2.3 ADP), Bailey (3.7) and Reuben Bain Jr. (7.5) all slotting in ahead of the top offensive tackle prospects such as Francis Mauigoa (8.2), Spencer Fano (11.8), Proctor (17.2) and Freeling (17.3).
The receiver class is deep as well, although only one—Carnell Tate with an ADP of 6.7—is coming off the board inside the top 10 of the expert consensus mock.
There seems to be high potential for a run on the position near the midpoint of Day 1, with Jordyn Tyson (12.3 ADP), Makai Lemon (16.3), Omar Cooper Jr. (21.2) and KC Concepcion (22.8) all appearing in that range.
Safety is a well-represented position in the consensus expert mock, an intriguing revelation given the low priority teams have historically placed on drafting them early. Caleb Downs, a slam-dunk top-10 selection, leads the way with an ADP of 7.2, although Dillon Thieneman (18.8) and Emmanuel McNeil-Warren (24.5) also look like first-round locks thanks to their appearance in all six expert mocks.
Least Common Positions

The 2026 NFL draft class isn't known for its quarterback quality. Mendoza was the only passer who made the first-round cut, although Ty Simpson did appear in both ESPN mocks (going No. 26 in Yates' and No. 30 in Kiper's) as well as the Ringer's.
The Alabama QB wasn't found in Round 1 in the other three mocks, however, which dropped him out of the consensus top-32.
Jeremiyah Love is poised to become the lone first-round RB in the 2026 class. Jadarian Price slipped in as the No. 32 pick in both Kiper and Jeremiah's mocks, but his absence from the remaining four kept him from making the consensus list.
Love is almost certain to come off the board in the top 10, but experts are evenly split on where he will land. An ADP of 5.5 places him with the New York Giants in the consensus mock, but the B/R Scouting Department, Kiper and Jeremiah all foresee him going to the Tennessee Titans at No. 4. The Ringer, Brugler and Yates each have the Notre Dame standout slipping to the Commanders at No. 7.
It's a tough year for tight ends, too. Kenyon Sadiq is the only clear-cut first-rounder, with his consensus ADP of 17.5 placing him in Detroit. His landing range appears to be somewhere between the Buccaneers at No. 15 (where B/R, The Ringer and Kiper have the Oregon product going) and No. 27, a spot Jeremiah believes the 49ers could come away with one of the biggest draft steals.
Teams needing a cornerback in the 2026 draft will find slim pickings. Landing an elite one will likely take a top-15 pick, as Jermod McCoy is the lone player representing the position within the expert consensus mock.
The Tennessee defensive back has an ADP of 16, although three mocks partnered him with the Cowboys at No. 12 overall.
