The Bank of the West Classic's top seed is out of the competition in the second round after Wozniacki was dropped in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2, in her first match of the tournament.

The WTA provided a look at Lepcenko's winner:

Lepchenko managed to contain Wozniacki's serve, winning 48 percent of her returns. Wozniacki, on the other hand, did not fare as well when it came to returning Lepchenko's serve. Lepchenko recorded four aces on the day

Radwanska survived an early scare, defeating Doi in three sets after dropping the first 1-6. She might have needed a warm-up set, as she dominated the rest of the match, winning the next two 6-2, 6-0. The WTA has the replay of Radwanska's winner:

Her win ensures that she stays unbeaten against opponents outside of the top 100 since February 2009, according to Tennis View Magazine's Chris Skelton

The match's winner had trouble for a majority of the match with her service, winning 58 percent of her total chances.

Last year's semifinalist and 14th-ranked tennis player in the world Angelique Kerber is on her way to the quarterfinals after a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Ana Konjuh.

Kerber's victory was simplified thanks to lapses from Konjuh, who committed four double-faults on the afternoon. When she did manage to get her serve over, Kerber was ruthless, winning half of her possible return points.
