Full List of Texas Players Drafted in Each Round of 2026 NFL Draft
Texas football entered last season as the No. 1 team in the nation but endured some struggles on both sides of the ball and ultimately finished outside of the College Football Playoff.
Still, the Longhorns were a very solid team and even finished with 10 wins capped by a victory over Michigan in the Citrus Bowl.
Next year's draft should feature some highly touted Texas prospects, including quarterback Archie Manning, edge-rusher Colin Simmons, wide receiver (and Auburn transfer) Cam Coleman, offensive tackles Brandon Baker and Trevor Goosby and defensive lineman Maraad Watson. It's possible that they all land in the first round.
However, this year's draft class should make its own stamp on the NFL.
Cornerback Malik Muhammad amassed 16 pass breakups, 98 tackles and three interceptions in three seasons. The six-foot cornerback was graded as a second-round prospect.
Linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. had an unbelievable sophomore season in 2024 with 113 tackles, eight sacks and 16.5 tackles for a loss over 16 games. He was limited to 10 games in 2025 after suffering a fractured hand in November against Georgia that ended his season but still had 69 tackles and four sacks.
Tight end Jack Endries had a roller coaster year after transferring from Cal, but he finished with 12 receptions for 177 yards and a touchdown in his final three games en route to a 33/346/3 stat line.
Texas safety Michael Taaffe was one of the better stories in college football. The walk-on was born in Austin and went to high school at Westlake in nearby Travis County. He had 222 tackles and seven interceptions in 53 games over his four seasons. He was one of three finalists for the Burlsworth Trophy, given annually to the nation's top walk-on in Division-I FBS.
DJ Campbell was a three-year starter at right guard for the Longhorns. He played an integral role on some very good teams, including the 2023 and 2024 squads, who each made the College Football Playoff and finished third and fourth in the final Associated Press polls, respectively.
Here's a look at where they all landed in the NFL.
