Latest De'Von Achane Rumors on RB's Future with Dolphins amid Contract Talks
De'Von Achane doesn't appear to be making things uncomfortable for the Miami Dolphins as he continues to wait for a new contract.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Achane was at the Dolphins' training facility on Thursday as a "sign of good faith" toward the organization as the two sides continue to discuss a long-term extension.
Achane was not present for the start of Miami's voluntary offseason workout program last week, though head coach Jeff Hafley called it "part of the business" and expressed confidence things would work out.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It was assumed after the Dolphins gutted their roster early in the offseason by releasing several veteran players, including Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and Bradley Chubb, then trading Jaylen Waddle, that Achane might not be around much longer.
Despite all of those moves, general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan told reporters on March 30 that Achane wasn't on the trade block and an extension was a "priority" for the team.
Sullivan reiterated that stance during a pre-draft press conference on Wednesday.
"He's not available for trade," Sullivan said. "Things are going good — we've had some positive conversations over the past couple days, trending in the right direction. He's obviously very important to what we're doing ... We'll get to where we need to be, one way or another."
Despite Sullivan's comments on the state of talks between the two sides, Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald reported this week that they are not "close" to an extension at this point.
Spotrac's market value tool projects Achane as being in line for a four-year, $59.2 million extension. The $14.8 million average annual salary would make him the fourth highest-paid running back, behind Saquon Barkley ($20.6 million), Christian McCaffrey ($19 million) and Derrick Henry ($15 million).
Achane is entering the final year of his rookie contract and will earn $5.8 million in 2026. The 24-year-old set career-highs in rushing yards (1,350) and yards from scrimmage (1,838) last season.
Since entering the NFL in 2023, Achane's 98.5 scrimmage yards per game ranks seventh among all running backs. He also has 35 total touchdowns in 44 games during that three-year period.
