Caitlin Clark Campaigns to Be Taste Tester for Cubs' Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe Search

The Chicago Cubs are interested in teaming up with Caitlin Clark as part of a new promotion to bring homemade chocolate chip cookies to Wrigley Field.

Clark said Tuesday she is interested in being a taste-tester after the Cubs requested fans submit cookie recipes that could be served at concession stands later this season.

"ABSOLUTELY," the Cubs responded.

Fans can submit recipes, accompanied by a message describing their Cub fandom alongside an optional baking video, until April 30.

The Cubs will eventually select finalists who will compete in a live bake-off as part of the club's 150th anniversary celebration.

The club could be hoping that promotion will help spark some momentum for the Cubs, who are sitting at the bottom of the NL Central after a 4-6 start to the 2026 season.

Clark is a lifelong Cubs fan who has previously thrown out ceremonial fist pitches for both the club and its Triple-A affiliate.

She is currently preparing to tip off her third season with the Indiana Fever on May 9 after recovering from the injuries that limited her to just 13 games of the 2025 campaign.
