Daniel Jeremiah's New 2026 NFL Draft Big Board Rankings Drop, Top Risers & Fallers After Free Agency
Three weeks away from the 2026 NFL draft, NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah has dropped his updated top-50 big board rankings with only one change near the top of the class.
The top 10 for Jeremiah features the same names as his previous update released on March 5, except LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane and Ohio State safety Caleb Downs swapped spots with Delane moving up to eight and Downs falling to ninth.
Here is the updated top-10 prospects in the 2026 class, per Jeremiah:

NFL coach calls CFB transfer players 'clowns'

Final Consensus NFL Mock Draft 📝
- Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana
- Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame
- Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State
- David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech
- Arvell Reese, EDGE, Ohio State
- Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State
- Rueben Bain Jr., EDGE, Miami
- Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU
- Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
- Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami
In shifting the two secondary players, Jeremiah noted that Mansoor alleviated "any concerns about his speed" with a good showing at LSU's pro day with a sub-4.4 in the 40-yard dash.
Downs, according to Jeremiah, doesn't necessarily have "wow" traits, but he will be a "plug-and-play starter who makes others better around him."
B/R's NFL scouting department still has Downs ranked as the No. 1 overall prospect in the class, but they did cite questions about his wrap-up tackling skill and pursuit angles as areas of improvement.
The biggest riser on Jeremiah's list is Ohio State defensive tackle Kayden McDonald. He jumped six spots from No. 39 last month to 33 right now.
McDonald measured in undersized in many categories at the NFL scouting combine, but he had an outstanding 2025 as an interior defender. The 21-year-old was a unanimous All-American selection with nine tackles for loss and three sacks in 14 games.
B/R's NFL scouting department projected McDonald to be a first-round pick by the New England Patriots at No. 31 overall in its most recent mock draft released on Tuesday, praising him for being "physical and nasty" as a run defender and a potential Day 1 starter.
On the other end of the spectrum, Florida State defensive tackle Caleb Banks was Jeremiah's biggest faller from 36 to 42.
"Overall, Banks has a lot of talent, but his injury history and inconsistency could slide him down the board on draft day," Jeremiah wrote of Banks.
Banks had the best season of his college career in 2024 with seven tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks, but a foot injury limited him to three games last year. The 23-year-old is expected to be out until June after suffering a broken foot at the combine.
