Todd McShay Drops New Big Board Buy or Sell After Latest 2026 NFL Mock Draft
In a class with no shortage of talented edge-rushers, NFL draft expert Todd McShay can't get behind Clemson's T.J. Parker moving up into the top 20.
McShay and co-host Steve Muench played a game of buy or sell in the newest episode of his podcast using his big board.
Muench kicked off at the 49:10 mark by asking McShay to buy or sell Parker at No. 18. McShay sold, saying that "the finishing skills are not quite there yet." He went on to say the Tigers standout is a "really good player" but lacks that certain something that leads you to believe he's a top-15-type prospect.
Parker, who's 22nd on McShay's big board, had 21.5 sacks and 41.5 tackles for loss in three years at Clemson. He went 29th to the Kansas City Chiefs in Bleacher Report's newest mock, so McShay isn't alone in being a little more critical.
He followed by pressing Muench to buy or sell Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq as the 17th-best player.
Sadiq caught 51 passes for 560 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior at Oregon. While he didn't put him big numbers in 2025, Muench believes there's enough talent and potential to warrant taking the 6'3" pass-catcher at 17th or earlier.
Later in the episode, McShay brought up an intriguing name: Indiana cornerback D'Angelo Ponds.
A first-team All-American in 2025 and two-time All-Big Ten honoree, Ponds was an elite college corner. He's nonetheless No. 47 on McShay's big board, which underlines the skepticism over whether he can carry that over the pros.
Muench sold on Ponds at No. 47.
"I love his tape, I love how tough he is, I love how smart he is," Muench said. "I'm really concerned about how it translates to the league. He's a physical corner and he's going to a league that doesn't really allow you to do that. ... If this was 1994 and this kid was coming out, I'd be betting on him. Betting on him. But it's not anymore. It's a league where they want guys to make plays on offense. It's a fantasy football league now."
McShay quipped that he hopes Ponds to silences Muench and any other skeptics he has.
