New Todd McShay NFL Mock Draft 'Regrets' About Ty Simpson, Jeremiyah Love Revealed in Trending Video
After releasing his latest NFL mock draft last week, The Ringer's Todd McShay revealed what he "regrets" doing in that mock.
On his podcast, McShay said he now thinks Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love will go later than he initially projected.
"I still keep looking at the Giants' pick of Jeremiyah Love at No. 5," McShay said (1-minute mark). "And as I turned it in, I'm like, 'I just think he's going No. 7.' I think the Giants should take Sonny Styles, and if they don't take Sonny Styles, I think they could take Caleb Downs."

He added that he thinks Alabama's Ty Simpson, who was left out of his latest mock draft, will be taken in the first round.
"I don't know where Ty Simpson fits," McShay said (5:40 mark). "But Ty Simpson's gonna get drafted in the first round."
Simpson, who started one season at Alabama, is considered to be the No. 26 overall player and the No. 2 quarterback in this year's draft class by B/R's NFL Scouting Department.
He collected 3,567 passing yards and 28 touchdowns with just five interceptions with the Crimson Tide in 2025, leading them to the College Football Playoff quarterfinal.
Love is the top running back and the No. 2 overall player on B/R's big board after he posted 1,372 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns in 2025.
