New 2026 NFL Draft Rumors on Arvell Reese Link Giants, Jets, Saints to Ohio State LB After Pro Day
One of the top prospects in this year's NFL draft reportedly is making his rounds with teams that have early picks.
Per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese had dinner with the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints in Columbus this week. He also had a "lengthy meeting" with the New York Giants in recent days.
Reese is considered to be the No. 4 overall player and the top linebacker in this year's draft class by B/R's NFL Scouting Department. In the latest mock draft from B/R, Reese is projected to go second overall to the Jets.

Re-Drafting Every Team's Worst Draft Pick of the Century 😡
It would be no surprise to see Reese drafted so high after two outstanding years with the Buckeyes. In 2025, he recorded 69 tackles, 6.5 sacks and a pair of passes defended in just his second year as a starter.
Reese had his Ohio State pro day this week, and it's safe to say that he impressed.
"This guy can play crouched down about as high as a coffee table and move just as fluid as water," ESPN's Louis Riddick said of Reese after his pro day. "And when he changes direction, you can see the explosiveness in terms of his body movement and movement style... You can see why all the teams are sitting there just absolutely licking their chops... A guy likes this goes within the top three or four picks."
If the Jets are looking to add a pass rusher in the draft, Reese will almost certainly be the second player off the board. As for the Giants and Saints, they'll just have to hope Reese is still available when their picks come around.
