The WWE Stars in Danger of Danhausen's Curse

Chris MuellerMar 29, 2026

Danhausen has yet to step into a WWE ring for a match, but his curses have already started affecting Superstars around him.

The Miz and Dominik Mysterio have been his biggest victims, but he also cursed IShowSpeed on Monday's Raw after beating him in a race somehow.

It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but Danhausen's comedic persona has produced some fun moments since arriving at Elimination Chamber on February 28.

Finding the right people to pair him with is important, because we're unlikely to see the former All Elite Wrestling star cursing Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns unless the plan is for them to crush him afterwards.

Let's take a look at who is most likely to end up in a story with Danhausen thanks to his curse.

Kit Wilson (Again)

1 of 5
SmackDown

Friday on SmackDown, Kit Wilson was cursed by Danhausen and ended up losing his match to Jelly Roll. This is probably not the last time the poet will end up suffering from Danhausen's machinations.

The anti-toxic persona of Wilson has been featured quite frequently in recent months, but we all know his character has a low ceiling.

The English wrestler is there to provide laughs just like Danhausen, so it would make perfect sense for them to end up in more segments together.

Even though Danhausen appears to be spending more time on Raw, there are ample opportunities for him to head to SmackDown for another quick curse.

Grayson Waller

Grayson Waller has turned to his comedic side a lot since joining WWE, but he is also a great athlete the company can rely on to produce good matches.

His alliance with The New Day hasn't been going anywhere, and it would be nice to see the Australian step out on his own for a feud once in a while.

He would be a fantastic choice to pair with Danhausen because he will lean into the funny moments while also putting on the best possible match with him.

This seems like such an obvious choice that it's shocking it hasn't happened already.

The New Day

We already mentioned Waller, but Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston will likely end up on the receiving end of a curse, too.

Even though they are one of the most successful tag teams in WWE history, The New Day has always been willing to go for laughs.

Woods is so great at vocally overselling for comedic purposes that he would sell the curse better than almost anyone in WWE.

After all, many fans still haven't forgiven Woods and Kingston for what they did to Big E and might say they deserve a little cursing.

El Grande Americano (Any of Them)

4 of 5
NXT

If you watch AAA, you will see the Ludwig Kaiser version of El Grande Americano being booked like the biggest babyface in the promotion. In WWE, he tends to be more comedic.

The gimmick began as a joke and somehow caught on enough that WWE kept it going when Chad Gable was injured and unable to wear the mask. Kaiser even got two cohorts, with Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate taking on the roles of Bravo and Rayo.

Whether it's the Gable or Kaiser version, it's easy to see Danhausen cursing one of the masked men as a real possibility.

If he was feeling bold, he could even curse all four men at once just to see what happens.

Angel and Berto

5 of 5
SmackDown

For several months, Angel and Berto have been severely underused by WWE, but that also puts them in a position to be able to take on any kind of storyline.

Their characters are not serious enough to be above a comedic story, so having them interact with Danhausen is not out of the realm of possibility.

The tag team division in WWE has some great duos who are being ignored despite their talent, and this is one of them.

Giving Angel and Berto anything to do is better than letting them sit on the sidelines doing nothing.

The stars listed here could all end up cursed before the summer is over, but WWE has a big roster. Who do you want to see Danhausen target next?
