NASCAR's Tyler Reddick Praises 'Inspiring' Michael Jordan in Video, 'Such a Competitive Person'

Tyler Reddick has gotten off to a strong start to the 2026 NASCAR season while driving for Michael Jordan's 23XI Racing, recently discussing the NBA legend's competitive nature.

"Everyone got to see it in basketball," Reddick said during a Wednesday appearance on the Pat McAfee Show (0:41 mark). "We're all getting to see it now in NASCAR. But, he's such a competitive person in every aspect of life that it's truly inspiring, honestly. I hope as I get older, and who knows, maybe when I get done with racing I can continue to be as competitive as he's been his whole life."

Reddick is coming off a victory at Darlington Raceway on Sunday, marking his fourth win of the 2026 season.

He previously won the first three races of the season, becoming the first driver in NASCAR history to do so.

With Reddick's latest victory, he joined NASCAR Hall of Famers Dale Earnhardt and Bill Elliott as the only Cup drivers to win four of the first six races of the year, per the Associated Press.

The 30-year-old unsurprisingly holds the No. 1 spot in the Cup Series standings, sitting 95 points above Ryan Blaney at No. 2.
