Charles Barkley, Tom Brady, Jason Kelce Among Full List of Nominees for 2026 Sports Emmy Awards

Charles Barkley, Tom Brady and Jason Kelce are among the 2026 Sports Emmy Awards nominees.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences released the full list of nominees for the award ceremony on Wednesday.

Brady, who recently finished his second season as an analyst on Fox Sports' NFL coverage, was nominated in the Outstanding Sports Personality: Event Analyst category. He will be competing against Troy Aikman, Cris Collinsworth, Greg Olsen and Bill Raftery.

One of the most decorated players in NFL history, Brady does have a Sports Emmy among his many trophies. He won in the Serialized Sports Documentary category in 2019 for the Tom vs. Time series.

Kelce is one of six nominees for Outstanding Sports Personality: Emerging On-Air Talent, along with Andraya Carter, Katie George, Matt Ryan, Richard Sherman and J.J. Watt.

The older Kelce brother has been part of ESPN's NFL coverage as part of the Monday Night Countdown crew for the past two years.

As part of the Inside the NBA crew, Barkley received a nomination for Outstanding Sports Personality: Studio Analyst. He is vying for the award along with Mina Kimes, Clark Kellogg, Pedro Martínez, Candace Parker and Alex Rodriguez.

In the programming categories, the championship event nominees include the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, World Series, The Masters, NBA Finals and Super Bowl 60.

The MLB All-Star Game, Kentucky Derby, Monsters Funday Football, the NHL in ASL: 2025 NHL Stadium Series and NHL on ESPN: 4 Nations Face-Off are nominated in the non-championship event live sports special category.

ESPN received the most total nominations among networks with 62. A host and lifetime achievement recipient have not yet been announced.

This year's Sports Emmy ceremony will be held at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York on May 26.
