Tiger Woods' Return at TGL After 13 Months Amid Back Injury Excites Fans in Leadup to The Masters
With the Masters right around the corner, legendary golfer Tiger Woods eased back into the links by suiting up for Jupiter Links in Match 2 of the TGL finals on Tuesday.
Woods, who has not golfed competitively since 2024, didn't need much of a warmup, looking strong earlier on in the match.
Fans were ecstatic to see Woods back on the golf course, even if he hasn't made his return to the PGA Tour just yet.
Jupiter Links dropped Match 1 of the TGL finals to the Los Angeles Golf Club on Monday night, meaning they needed a win in Match 1 to stay alive and force a third match.
Unfortunately for Jupiter Links, Woods' return wasn't enough to will them to a win as Los Angeles GC put together a dominant 9-2 performance. Despite the loss, Woods was named Player of the Match.
While Woods returned for Tuesday's final, when he'll return to the PGA Tour is still unclear. Re-joining the PGA ranks at Augusta National next month would be quite the fitting venue, though.
