Jeremiyah Love Meets with Teams, Reveals Lofty NFL Goals at Notre Dame Pro Day
Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love is already mapping out his NFL career ahead of April's draft.
During the Fighting Irish's pro day on Tuesday, Love set the modest goal of becoming a Hall of Famer and said he's looking ahead to his "third" contract in the league. He also wants to be the Offensive Rookie of the Year and a Pro Bowler in 2026:

As expected, the Doak Walker Award winner was a popular figure despite not working out. New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier was among the NFL personnel who spoke with him:
Love totaled 3,014 yards from scrimmage and averaged 6.9 yards per carry over the last two seasons. He has the size (6'0" and 212 pounds) and skill to be an every-down back who provides a threat in the passing game.
As much as running backs have been devalued in the NFL, teams are still willing to invest serious draft capital in an elite backfield prospect. Love was projected to go fourth overall to the Tennessee Titans in Bleacher Report's most recent mock.
"The improvement of Cam Ward's offensive ecosystem should be high on the Titans' to-do list," B/R NFL scout Dame Parson said. "Love is an elite prospect with a special combination of running and receiving traits to impact the game on all three downs. He is an explosive homerun threat anytime he touches the football but still runs with enough power and contact balance to churn through longer drives. Ward doesn't need to be thrust into a Superman role this early in his career, while Love can serve as his Batman."
Notre Dame's pro day wasn't going to impact Love's stock positively or negatively even if he had been a full participant. Interested suitors will at least have been satisfied with the opportunity to chat with him more directly again ahead of the draft.
In terms of his stated objectives in the NFL, Love's confidence isn't totally unearned. All of the tools for him to become a perennial Pro Bowler are there. Should he hit that level, he could help to change how teams evaluate the position.
