Sid 'Sycho Sid Justice' Eudy Announced for 2026 WWE Hall of Fame Class by Triple H

WWE head of creative Triple H announced Tuesday that Sid Eudy will be a legacy inductee as part of the WWE Hall of Fame's class of 2026.

Wrestling under the monikers Sid Vicious, Sid Justice and Sycho Sid, Eudy was a multi-time world champion in both WWE and WCW during an in-ring career that spanned more than three decades.

One of the most popular pro wrestling stars of the 1990s, Sid died in 2024 at the age of 63.

Sid's first big break in wrestling came when he signed with NWA World Championship Wrestling in 1989 and then joined the legendary Four Horsemen stable the following year.

He left for WWE in 1991, taking on the Sid Justice name, and it wasn't long before the towering Superstar was working main events.

Sid was the runner-up in the 1992 Royal Rumble match for the vacant WWE Championship, and he went on to face Hulk Hogan in the main event of WrestleMania 8.

After a return stint in WCW, Sid resurfaced in WWE in 1995, this time going by Sycho Sid.

Sid's WWE run from 1995 to 1997 proved to be the most successful of his career, as he beat Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series 1996, won it back from Bret Hart in 1997 to become a two-time WWE champion, and dropped it for a final time to The Undertaker in the main event of WrestleMania 13.

Returning to WCW for one last go 'round in 1999 as Sid Vicious, Eudy enjoyed another dominant stretch, winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship twice, and the United States Championship once.

Nicknamed "The Millennium Man," Sid had a lengthy winning streak at one point, solidifying him as a main eventer and one of WCW's top stars.

After WWE purchased WCW in 2001, Sid continued to wrestle sporadically on the independent scene for the next 15 years. He even popped up occasionally in WWE, including beating Heath Slater on an episode of Raw in 2012.

In 2016, WWE added a legacy wing to the Hall of Fame, featuring almost exclusively posthumous inductees.

Although legacy inductees are officially part of the WWE Hall of Fame and are recognized at the ceremony, they are not allotted time for speeches, unlike the traditional Hall of Famers.

Sid joins AJ Styles, Stephanie McMahon, Demolition and Dennis Rodman in the WWE Hall of Fame's class of 2026, with the induction ceremony taking place on April 17 at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas.
