Mike McCarthy Discusses Possible Aaron Rodgers Reunion on Video Amid Steelers Rumors
New Pittsburgh Steelers head coach said Monday he doesn't know if he'll have a reunion with Aaron Rodgers this season as the veteran quarterback contemplates retirement.
"It would be a great story. I don't know," he said. "And I would love to tell everybody some breaking news. But it's really cool to see Aaron at 42. To see a young man at 22, and all that he's been able to accomplish, and where he's at in his personal life and trying to make this decision. So he's in a really good place, I think he's in a really good place."

McCarthy and Rodgers were paired in Green Bay between the 2006-18 seasons, winning a Super Bowl together and reaching the playoffs nine times. Rodgers was a seven-time Pro Bowler and two-time MVP during that stretch.
The Steelers hired McCarthy to replace Tomlin this offseason, and it seems likely that he'll have one last season with Rodgers, though nothing is official to this point. It would certainly be quite the reunion.
