LSU held its Pro Day on Monday, and one of the more intriguing prospects in action was quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.

Here's a look at some of his drills and throws:

The B/R NFL Draft Scouting Department has Nussmeier ranked No. 51 overall on its big board, which would put him very much in the second-round conversation. He's ranked third among the quarterbacks behind only Indiana's Fernando Mendoza and Alabama's Ty Simpson, though players like Drew Allar and Carson Beck will be in the conversation as well.

Nussmeier, 24, had an up-and-down 2025 season, throwing for 1,927 yards, 12 touchdowns and five interceptions across nine games, completing 67.4 percent of his passes. He was affected by an oblique injury throughout the year, however.

"I couldn't use my core," he said in January. "I've been having to just go back from the ground up and retrain myself, get back to finishing throws and rotating through the ball."

Now, he's hoping to show teams he's still a top prospect. His 2024 season (4,052 yards, 29 touchdowns, 12 interceptions) was a taste of what he can do. Come the second day of the draft, interested teams may find it hard to pass on Nussmeier.
